Deirdre and Audrey recorded this episode in Audrey's house (before Covid-19 restrictions). A two-story Victorian end of terrace house in Holloway. Audrey's personal experience has brought an added passion for furnishing period properties and how we should all think about mixing styles.

A huge percentage of Audrey's interior design project work over the years has been in Victorian, Edwardian and around London, and some Georgian properties. It’s a subject that she's very passionate about. Not only that, but Audrey has lived in period homes in London since 2002, including conversion flats. That experience means she's been through everything you can possibly imagine (And it also means she has experienced the draughty windows, high ceiling decorating challenges etc first hand, as well as the benefits!).

Deirdre and Audrey tackle the debate about mixing styles in this episode of the DnA, with Deirdre challenging common interior design concepts for period homes and Audrey detailing how she's approached each project she's developed over the years. Listeners will come away from this episode with many questions answered and with a range of ideas to take back to their home and get started on their own interior design project.
